The Red Shoes
The Red Shoes is a nonprofit center offering opportunities for spiritual enrichment and personal growth through book and
film studies, weekend retreats, and workshops. The Red Shoes offers creative development through the art forms of collage, drawing, painting, writing and music. The Red Shoes offers movement classes including yoga and various dance disciplines.
The Red Shoes derives its name from the ancient fairy story of the same name, specifically as interpreted by Jungian analyst Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
The Red Shoes’ mission is to value and support all women on their lifes journey. They provide programs that encourage women of all ages and backgrounds to come together to discover their potential. The Red Shoes is a supportive and safe place for women to learn and help build bridges of understanding, fostering personal and spiritual growth. Economic empowerment is cultivated by Lifting Loans, their micro-loan program for women.
