PANPHA
Established in 1963, PANPHA An Association of Nonprofit Senior Services - is the states largest trade association representing nonprofit private, fraternal, religious and government sponsored providers of housing and health-related service options to Pennsylvanias elderly. More than 350 member organizations belong to PANPHA, including nursing facilities, retirement communities, personal care and independent housing facilities, HUD housing, adult day care and other community-based service providers.
PANPHA is committed to providing their membership with the techniques, data, information and education necessary to assist them in adapting and modifying their programs in response to ongoing changes in long-term care. PANPHA advocates public policy initiatives that support individual rights, quality care, equitable access and reimbursement for seniors. Their nonprofit approach to care places the emphasis on providing an atmosphere of fellowship and caring; on meeting the social, physical and spiritual needs of the individual; and on helping older persons achieve the dignity and quality of life they deserve in their retirement years.
