California Environmental Health Association
CEHA is a non-profit association that is committed to providing for the professional growth and development of the environmental health professional. They are primarily an organization of volunteers dedicated to the environmental health profession, which includes the protection of public health and the environment. Most of members are employed by local government agencies that regulate retail food establishments, public swimming pools, land use/septic systems, landfills, domestic and environmental wells, and much more.
CEHA is dedicated to improving the quality of life and health through environmental education and protection. Their strategic plan mission statement is to provide the very highest quality career-long professional growth and support for the environmental health professional; and to provide a forum for environmental health issues to advance the environmental health cause.
